A vintage bow-fronted oak display cabinet. Two glazed doors with fine glazing bars separating each door into four vertical panels. The central glazing bead on each door has a decorative detail at the top. The sides of the cabinet are also glazed. It sits on Queen Anne legs. The top has a rope carving around the sides and front with an upstand at the back. With original working lock and key.
We sanded, primed and undercoated the whole piece before painting in "Victorian Mint" water based acrylic satin. We used a good quality Butterfly paper in the back of the cabinet. All the paintwork has been waxed using Carnuba wax to give it a durable and smooth finish. We decided not to distress the paintwork and leave you to choose. We can do this at no extra cost.
