A vintage Ercol oak dresser with two doors and two drawers in the base, all with carved detailing. An open shelved top with embossed detailing to the pelmet. It arrived with us having two very small glazed "cupboards" on each side of the top middle display shelf. We couldn't see that they added anything to the dresser so we removed them.

We then sanded, cleaned, primed and undercoated, before professionally spray painting with two coats of our own colour "Spell Grey" acrylic water based satin. We also primed, undercoated and painted the inside of the cupboards in "Regency White" to give them a clean fresh look. The woodgrain stands out from under the paint finish and gives a superb textured appearance. The dark varnished oak top was sanded back to reveal its natural colour and then matt sealed for protection. The whole piece was then waxed with Carnauba to protect. To complete the transformation we have added new ceramic knobs. The dresser separates for transportation.
