A classic vintage kneehole desk featuring two lockable drawers to the left and a large double height drawer on the right. Above each drawer set is a pull out platform slide. We have paired this with a hardwood chair with carved dragon detail in the back.

After thorough preparation, we professionally spray painted the desk. We started with two coats of shellac based primer, then followed with a coat of water based acrylic resin undercoat in grey. We then applied two coats of water based acrylic satin in 'Oberon'. Finally we applied a coat of water based matt varnish.

We recovered the desk top with a faux steel grey leatherette. We have lined all the drawers, using the same faux steel grey leatherette. We have upholstered the chair seat pad with a Balmoral check fabric. We treated this with fabric protection.

Although not shown in our photographs, the back of the desk is also painted so it can be used in a free standing location.
