A tall antique pine dresser. 2 doors and two drawers to the base, tall open shelved top.

Our lovely customer Catherine bought this amazing tall dresser and asked us to refinish it for her. We collected it from the vendor and took it back to our workshops. After some repairs and the addition of a shelf to the base, we professionally spray painted the dresser. We gave it one coat of shellac based primer followed by two coats of acrylic resin based undercoat. Then we applied two coats of water based acrylic satin in Spell Grey. After that we applied a coat of water based matt varnish (two to the worktop) before carnauba waxing the piece.

As one of the door catches was missing, we sourced and fitted some replacements to suit the piece. We managed to slot the work on this piece into our busy schedule and took it to Catherine's home before Christmas.
