A Chinese display dresser; the base has four square legs and two reeded front drawers above a bottom shelf, supported by attractive turned feet. The dresser top has central shelves flanked by a display section on each side with glazed door, glass display shelves and glass sides. The piece is surmounted be a deep cornice. 

After preparation, we professionally spray painted the whole dresser.  Firstly we applied shellac based primer. This was followed by acrylic resin based undercoat then two coats of acrylic water based satin; the colour is Drawing Room Blue. Finally we applied a coat of water based matt varnish.

The back of the top display section has been papered using a luxury paper by Holden Decor "Countryside and Wildlife". To complete the makeover we added new antique brass door and drawer pulls.

The dresser separates in two for transportation. The base is 89cm high.
