A large pine vintage chest of drawers. A pair of half width drawers at the top, with five full sized drawers below. This is a solid vintage set.
After preparation, we applied one coat of shellac based primer then two coats of acrylic resin water based undercoat. We gave it two top coats in water based acrylic satin; the colour is Aurora. We then applied a coat of water based matt varnish.
We gave our "Artistic Fairy" a free hand to create an artistic original and she came up with a kaleidoscope of butterflies in decoupage. We applied another coat of matt varnish to the front of the drawers to protect the butterfly decoupage.
