This is a very characterful distressed pine table and 6 top quality, heavy beech chairs.
We have prepped, primed and undercoated the chairs, table base and legs. We chose "Aurora" (Equivalent to Farrow & Ball shade 213) water based acrylic satin for the top coats. The top of the table was stripped right back, as it was thick with old wax and did take quite some time. The pine top had been distressed in a previous life so this does remain. It has been given several coats of matt sealer and then finished with Carnauba wax for durability. The 6 chairs have also had a coat of matt sealer and a coat of Carnauba wax.
