A pine dresser, the base has four drawers in the centre flanked by a full height door in either side. It sits on front turned feet and rear posts. The top section has an open shelved central section topped by a curving pelmet, flanked on either side by a lower drawer with a glazed door above. The doors have attractive curved astragal beads. The top has a boarded back and a shaped pelmet above the worktop. It sits on two turned spindles.

When this dresser arrived at our workshops, it was a single piece. We have altered it so that the top can be separated from the bottom for transportation. After thorough preparation and TLC, we professionally spray painted it. The worktop has had two coats of water based matt varnish. All other surfaces inside and out had one coat of shellac based primer; one coat of water based acrylic resin undercoat, two coats of water based acrylic satin in Victorian Mint then a coat of water based matt varnish. Finally everything was carnauba waxed.

We lined the drawers with Vintage Wine Labels wipeable paper. We added new white porcelain drawer pulls to the base drawers and ceramic crackle glaze knobs to all the doors and the 2 top unit drawers. All the shelves in the dresser are adjustable in height.

The base is 81cm to its top.
