A two seater upholstered French style Louis sofa. Mahogany frame with padded back, seat and arms. The frame has carved detailing and cabriole legs. 

After thorough preparation, we professionally spray painted the frame. We started with a coat of shellac based primer, followed by two coats of water based acrylic resin undercoat. We then applied two coats of water based acrylic satin in Regency White. Finally we applied a coat of water based satin varnish.

We have reupholstered the sofa in a good quality slubbed silk/ chenille striped cream fabric and double piping edge. After reupholstery the fabric was treated with stain guard and fire retardant. 

We have a second sofa which is exactly the same; it has not yet been reupholstered. We can upholster this second sofa in the same fabric - or different!
