An antique late Victorian compactum wardrobe in mahogany. The base section contains one large drawer and skirting. The main section has a single mirrored door hanging section on one side. On the other side is a two door cupboard with shelf; below the cupboard is a pair of drawers above two wider drawers. The compactum is topped by a moulded cornice above a frieze panel and surmounted by a scroll carved pediment.  All three doors carry carved pediments and the pair of doors have detailed carved panels.

The hanging section has been fitted with a pull-out rail. All of the drawers still lock with their key, as does the pair of doors. The lock for the mirrored door has been removed at some point, but this door latches.

• two coats of water based acrylic resin undercoat
• two coats of water based acrylic satin in 'Plummett'. 
• one coat of water based satin varnish.

The wardrobe separates into four sections for transportation. 

The cornice is 48.5cm deep front to back.
