A large rectangular mahogany dining table matched with 8 Italian made bergere style chairs, two of which are carvers. The table features a deeply carved edging around the top with matching carving around the lower apron. It has cabriole legs with claw and ball feet. The legs have ornate carving on their upper corners. The chairs have rattan backs, cabriole legs and feature carvings.

We acquired the table in May 2015 and have been patiently waiting for the right set of chairs to match it with.

After meticulous surface preparation, we professionally spray painted the set.  We gave the table and chairs two coats of shellac based primer, followed by two coats of water based acrylic resin undercoat. We then applied two coats of water based acrylic satin in 'Ammonite -  a very subtle grey/white.  We gave the table top a third coat of acrylic satin. Finallly, we applied a coat of water based matt varnish with the table top having two coats.

We reupholstered the chairs using Laura Ashley "Summer Palace" fabric in dove grey. This was Scotchguard protected. 

The table legs are removable for transportation.
