A large antique Victorian 5 drawer chest standing on tall turned feet.
Our customer Rebecca asked us to source a large antique chest of drawers to go with an antique wardrobe we had supplied her. After quite a bit of hunting, we found this amazing piece; we absolutely loved its character feet.
After some TLC and preparation, we started with two coats of shellac based primer. Then we applied a coat of water based acrylic resin undercoat. We followed up with two coats of water based acrylic satin in All White. After a coat of water based matt varnish, we gave it a coat of carnauba wax.
