A grand extending oval dining table with two ornate pedestals. The extending table leaf sits in a hinged cradle when not in use under the two main tops. The extending leaf has side flaps which fold down to match the table apron. We have matched this with six ladder back chairs. This is a superb and very solid table and chair set which has been refinished to a high standard.

The beautiful Beech table top has been sanded back to show its natural colour and then sealed using clear matt varnish. Two coats of carnauba wax were then applied to leave a beautiful silky finish. The top sits on two very grand pedestals which have been painted in Laura Ashley Pale Linen. The six chairs have also been primed, undercoated and then top coated in Pale Linen. The chair seat pads have been newly upholstered in a gorgeous red gingham check fabric we bought in Italy. These have been Scotchguard protected. As with all our painted furniture Carnauba wax has been applied to protect and leave a soft silky finish.
