Giant Hall Cupboard in Skylight

Our lovely customer Sue commissioned this new pine cupboard from us for an alcove in her period home. After initial discussions, we agreed on sizes and produced drawings for her which she approved before we commenced manufacture. At 2.5 metres tall, it is too large for most modern homes!

The cupboard received the following multi-coat paint finish:

Thorough preparation
professionally spray painted
one coat of shellac based primer
one coat water-based acrylic undercoat in colours to match topcoats
Two coats water-based acrylic satin enamel in Skylight externally
Two coats water-based acrylic satin enamel in Book Room Red internally.

We made the case of the cupboard in three separate sections for ease of transportation.
