An Italian pedestal table with 6 chairs, 2 of which are carvers. The pedestal has carved detail. This is a superb Table and Chair set which has been refinished to a very high standard. Every piece of pre-owned furniture comes with a history, the chairs from this set had thousands of staples holding the old fabric on. It took us 3 days just to remove the old fabric! We have replaced all the old foam padding as it was in poor shape.

After sanding, priming and undercoating we finished both the table and chairs with "Regency White" acrylic water based satin paint. The chairs were then upholstered in a beautiful pale grey Toile de Jouy fabric, which has been trimmed with a contrasting braid which we just love. These have been Scotchguard protected. As with all our painted furniture Carnauba wax has been applied to protect and leave a soft silky finish. We didn't distress the paintwork as we wanted to give the customer that option at no extra cost.
