An Italian pedestal table with 6 Louis-style chairs, 2 of which are carvers. The pedestal has carved detail.

Our lovely customer Sally brought us this set for The Fettling Fairies treatment, specifying the paint colour and the fabric.

After thorough surface preparation, we professionally spray painted the table and chairs. Starting with two coats of shellac based primer, we then applied two coats of water based acrylic resin undercoat. Then we applied two coats of acrylic water based satin paint in 'New White' (with the table top receiving 3 coats). Finally we applied a coat of water based matt varnish (with three to the table top).

The chairs,  were then rewadded and upholstered in a designer crushed velvet fabric 'Purple Passion' with a silver stud trim.  This was all scotchguard protected.
