A set of six panel-back dining chairs, two of which are carvers, paired with a high quality extending oval with scallops hardwood dining table sitting on a double pedestal. The table tops feature an elegant moulded edge. The butterfly centre leaves fold into the table frame when not in use.

Our lovely customer Val asked us to transform her dining table and chairs.

Multi-coat paint finish:

• thorough preparation
• professionally spray painted
• two coats of shellac based primer
• two coats of water-based acrylic resin undercoat
• two coats of water-based acrylic matt in Pale Linen
• three coats of water-based acrylic matt in Pale Linen to the table tops
• one coat of water based matt varnish to chairs and table pedestal
• three coats of water-based matt varnish to table top

We completely re-upholstered the six chairs in a Laura Ashley "Summer Palace" taupe fabric. This included hand-made piped edgings. The upholstery was stainguard protected.

Val was delighted with the finished result.
