A repurposed Edwardian free standing cabinet. A glazed display door above an open shelf. The door has astragal beads separating the panes of glass. The cabinet is topped by a shaped upstand and has a shaped pelmet below the shelf.
After a little alteration and thorough preparation, we professionally spray painted the cabinet. We started with two coats of shellac based primer followed by a coat of water based acrylic resin undercoat. We then gave it two coats of water based acrylic satin in 'Titania'. Finally we applied a coat of water based matt varnish.
The back of the top display cupboard has been papered using a Butterfly design.
