A pine larder unit with large double cupboard above and three drawers below. We purchased it as a "wonky" tallboy and decided to give it a new purpose. We removed the hanging rail and gave it a solid new back to stabilise it, as it used to be a flat pack we think and had a wafer thin board at the back. Our Practical Fairy made some lovely new shelves for it which will store loads of jars, packets, cans, bottles and whatever else takes your fancy!

The Larder Unit was then primed and undercoated before painting in a shade that we call "Faran" a neutral acrylic water based satin which we mixed ourselves. We also added a brand new 18 bottle spice rack to the inside of the door. We gave the larder unit 2 coats of Carnauba wax for added protection. To give the Larder Unit real individuality our Artistic Fairy created some beautiful decoupaged knobs.
