A hand-painted, French country style Cabinet / Bookcase with two door cupboard below and two display doors above. A moulded frieze panel across the top of the doors.
We sanded the whole piece before painting in Laura Ashley Pale Linen ant then waxed using Carnauba. We replaced the dated leaded glass in the doors with chicken mesh and papered the back of the cabinet using a vintage Birds in Cages design. We added hand painted Cabinet Knobs which have decoupaged vintage Bird Cages to continue the theme.The beautiful Oak top was sanded and has been left its natural colour and then waxed to protect and enhance.
