A pine country dresser, manufactured by JayCee (Barker & Stonehouse) with three drawers and two doors to the base with an open central section with shelf; the doors have raised and fielded panels. The base  sits on a shaped plinth with a central carving. There is a shaped pelmet above the open section with a carving and also also carvings to the outer base uprights beside the drawers. The top section has display doors to either side with a wide open central shelved section in between with a shaped pelmet with carving. A wide shaped pelmet with carving is above the worktop and below three drawers, two narrow and a wide central one. The top is crowned by a moulded cornice. Boarded back to top section.

After thorough preparation, we professionally spray painted the piece inside and out. Firstly, we applied a coat of shellac based primer, then a coat of water based acrylic resin undercoat. Two coats of water based acrylic satin followed, the colour is Pale Linen. We then applied two coats of water based matt varnish to the worktop and one to the external paintwork. 

We added new metal pulls to all the drawers and the diamond leaded glass was replaced with new toughened panes to give the country look.

The height to the worktop is 87cm. The dresser separates in two for transportation.
