Bespoke 8ft Entrance Hall Cupboard in Stiffkey

A large 2.4 m wide entrance hall cabinet that we manufactured for our wonderful customer Simon. Eight large deep drawers in the base, hanging space in the double left-hand cupboard and a pair of single cupboards to the right with adjustable shelving. The central pair of doors are mirrored. The cabinet knobs are Dalton Design handmade pewter oval shaped. The cabinet separated into four sections for transportation.

The cupboard received the following multi-coat paint finish:

Thorough preparation
professionally spray painted
one coat of shellac based primer
one coat water-based acrylic undercoat in mid tones on internal surfaces.
one coat water-based acrylic undercoat in Dark Tones on external surfaces.
Two coats water-based acrylic satin in Stiffkey to external surfaces.
Two coats water-based acrylic Satin in Babouche to internal surfaces.

We fitted film-backed mirrors to the two central doors.
