A set of four antique French dining chairs matched with two antique Victorian chairs. The latter have original front casters.

Our lovely customer Shruthi wanted to buy our antique French lions head table but the chairs we had in the dining set did not suit her colour scheme. We offered her an alternative as we had a number of antique chairs awaiting our touch of magic.  

After complete restoration of the chairs, the set were professionally spray painted. We applied two coats of shellac based primer then two coats of water based acrylic resin undercoat. These were followed by two coats of water based acrylic satin in Regency White to match the table. A coat of carnauba wax was then applied for protection and to give a soft silky feel.

We completely re-upholstered the six chairs in French linen bird toile fabric.
