A 5ft pine farmhouse table with large turned legs, matched with 6 beech farmhouse chairs.  Two fiddlebacks, two spindlebacks and two slatbacks.

Our wonderful customer Jude bought our giant Scarborough dresser for her Dales B&B. She commissioned us to provide this farmhouse table and six chairs for her own kitchen/diner - as well as two round tables with two pairs of chairs for the guest dining room.  Jude's new kitchen has dark grey units so she asked us to do the table frame in Off Black to complement them. She specified the chairs in six shades of grey; Blackened, Pavilion Gray, Cornforth, Plummett, Moles Breath and Purbeck Stone.
We gave the set a multi-coat paint finish as follows:

• thorough preparation
• professionally spray painted
• one coat shellac based primer
• one coat water based acrylic resin undercoat in the appropriate colours for the topcoat.
• two coats water based satin or matt acrylic topcoats in the various colours.
• three coats water based satin varnish to the table top.
• We gave the table frame and the two darkest chairs a coat of matt varnish to get the desired effect.
